Welcome to Bright Future Therapy.

I provide a safe, private and comfortable environment where you can talk in confidence.

Why therapy is right for you

Do you struggle with confidence, low self-esteem or anxiety issues? Are your fears preventing you from doing the things you want to do? Perhaps you find it difficult to switch off, relax and get a full, refreshing night’s sleep after a stressful day. Or, is now the time to stop smoking, and feel healthier and fitter? …

If you are ready to take the first step towards a brighter, happier future then therapy could be right for you.

Hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming are forms of therapy that are used to change habits, replace unwanted behaviours and provide strategies to help improve our lives.

I use these therapies to help people who are struggling in areas such as those listed below. However, this list is not exhaustive, so please do contact me to discuss other areas I can help with.

Lack of confidence/low self-esteem

Fears and phobias

Sleep difficulties

Stress management

Smoking cessation

Weight management

I sought a hypnotherapist as I was having issues around my weight and feeling generally low. The minute I spoke to Kate on that initial telephone contact, I immediately felt at ease and began to open up to her. Throughout my time working with her, I felt she was easy to talk to and trust and completely understood me. Kate has helped me gain control of my poor eating habits and other areas of my life.

I have recommended others to Kate and would use her again in the future.

I have suffered with a fear of flying for over 30 years. The anxiety became so bad that I felt I could not even get on a plane. Having hypnotherapy with Kate helped me to cope with flying. I have now been abroad several times, and whilst I still don’t like it, I don’t suffer with anxiety anymore which results in a more enjoyable experience for me and my family. Female, Solihull

I suffered with a medical condition for most of my life. The condition meant that I was supposed to pass a catheter up into my bladder to drain the bladder of any waste urine that my bladder was unable to get rid of naturally. However, after repeated sessions with nurses over nearly half of my adult life I was unable to perform intermittent self-catheterisation (or ISC). Because of my acute anxiety of even thinking about doing ISC, I failed at, and avoided, the procedure. My health had deteriorated as a result, and because I was now at a risk of developing bladder cancer, I was given a permanent catheter that would always be draining the bladder. But this meant my quality of life was being compromised. So I found Kate because I needed a way to deal with this ISC thing with therapy. And the result was truly astonishing! I had one hypnotherapy session with her 4 days ahead of my next hospital appointment to try the dreaded ISC again, and a second session an hour before my hospital appointment. When I had my hospital appointment, the nurse took out the permanent catheter and talked me through the ISC procedure again, even though I’d been through it many times before. But this time, I applied the techniques that Kate discussed with me in hypnotherapy, and I managed to do ISC. I never thought I would ever have done this. My life has radically changed now, and I perform the procedure two or three times a day. I cannot thank Kate enough. She is amazing. David Crossfield
